Charlotte Bath

Charlotte joined DNV GL Oil and Gas in 2014 as a materials engineer. She is involved in providing integrity related services as a member of the Materials and Corrosion team. She is experienced in carrying out material failure investigations of onshore and offshore assets using metallographic, material testing and analytical techniques. In addition to this, she has experience in condition and defect assessments of assets ensuring components are fit for purpose and enabling life extension projects. She has knowledge in materials, pipeline and pressure vessel specifications; international or industrial standards and codes. Charlotte has an extensive knowledge of materials testing, including a detailed understanding and witnessing of material testing techniques including; hardness testing, chemical and spectroscopic analysis, optical and electron microscopy and microanalysis using XRD and SEM-EDX. She holds a Master’s Degree in Chemistry from University of Southampton in the UK.
