International Women in Engineering Day: Shaping the world, starting with the energy industry

On June 23rd, we will celebrate the achievements and expertise of women in engineering, at DNV GL and around the world. It is the 7th annual International Women in Engineering Day, and DNV GL encourages all of our colleagues to dedicate themselves to the day’s call to action, “Shape The World”.

At DNV GL, our engineers are shaping the world every day—they work to make the world safer, smarter, and greener. Through their work, they raise the profile of female engineers and encourage the next generation to consider engineering as a profession for all. Through everyone’s work at DNV GL, we can challenge stereotypes about the profession, fight bias, broaden perceptions, define engineering as a career path for female students and celebrate the achievements of our colleagues.

For us, International Women in Engineering Day is an opportunity to celebrate the amazing women who work within our energy business area and whom strive to “Shape The World”.

So, let’s celebrate the stories and achievements of DNV GL’s women engineers throughout all regions, levels and disciplines.

Share these stories with your networks and let us know who inspires you.
