Robert Rawlinson-Smith joined GL Garrad Hassan (now DNV GL) in 1991 following completion of his PhD in Wind Turbine Aerodynamics. A Chartered Engineer with more than 25 years’ experience in the renewable energy sector Robert has a deep understanding of Wind Turbine Design, Numerical modelling, Measurements and Certification rules.  He is currently responsible for coordination of wind, wave and tidal business development activities within GL Garrad Hassan’s Turbine Engineering competence centre.
