Dennis Flinn

Dennis Flinn, P.E., is a Principal Consultant with 35+ years’ experience modeling distribution systems. He actively participates in technical activities, resulting in over 20 publications. Dennis has modeled distribution networks using OpenDSS, CymeDist, FeederAll, EasyPower, DINIS, WindMil, and SynerGEE applications. He has also taught numerous training seminars worldwide related to distribution engineering.

Dennis’ present focus relates to system modeling, asset management, reliability, analytics, and automation. His assignments include modeling the impact of Renewable Energy and Storage on electric grids, providing expertise on smart grid applications, and evaluating voltage conservation projects.
