Brian Warshay

Brian Warshay is a principal consultant on DNV GL’s Energy Storage and DER team. He has experience developing large-scale behind the meter and front of meter energy storage projects that incorporate wholesale energy market revenues. At DNV GL, he evaluates storage projects and products to ensure operational strategies are captured in financial documentation and meet regulatory guidelines. Brian supports clients developing strategies to incorporate energy storage into their portfolios and entering new markets with storage products. He is working cross-functionally within DNV GL to leverage team expertise to develop data management best practices and create thought leadership content. Brian also contributes to product and project technical due diligence reports on various storage cells, packs, stacks, and systems to identify risk on behalf of developers and investors. He has evaluated new storage and DER technologies, including fuel cells, and develops some of DNV GL’s greenhouse gas accounting strategies for DERs.
