John Spouge

John Spouge

John Spouge is a Senior Principal Consultant, specialising in risk assessment, based in DNV GL's London office. John started work in 1978 as an apprentice naval architect; graduated in Ship Science at Southampton University, and conducted research into ship safety for the National Maritime Institute. With the independent consultants Technica, and subsequently DNV (now part of DNV GL), he has analysed the risks of diverse activities, including offshore installations, petrochemical facilities, road and rail transport, airports, air traffic control centres, helicopters, ships, ports, waste disposal, food processing and public health issues.
