Bjørn Tore Hellesøy works as a human factors consultant in DNV GL Oil and Gas’ Safety Risk Management department. He is engaged with human factors in design, e.g. ergonomic design of control centres, and human factors in operation, such as training operational personnel in understanding major accident risk. He studied work and organizational psychology at the universities in Bergen and Oslo.
